Olé! Lillys Flamenco

One hot and humid day in June... On a plaza several people were enjoying the sun. One head after the other turned around, when a lady dressed in a fine flamenco dress entered the plaza. The soft click, click of her shoes was audible on the stones. Stopping in the middle of the plaza she elegantly grabbed the train of her dress and lifted it. She gave the onlooking viewers a challenging glance, an old man started the rythem on a guitar and Lilly... started to dance.

Lillys Sternstunde

If I work on something, Lilly is sure to know. That wasn’t different with this kind of topic: Astrology. That was something I really wanted to try, to take pictures of stars and Lilly was fascinated when I told her about it and different constellations. She listened carefully and learnt. Afterwards she asked “I would like to see that too! Would you build a telescope for me, please?” I had to think real hard how this could be achieved and visited my favourite hobby shop. I nearly couldn’t open the door as Lilly was standing right behind it, jumping up and down and being very excited. We immediately started to build the telescope. After that we had to sew some new cloths as it wouldn’t be so warm outside and Lilly got a nice fleece pullover and leather jacket. So we were all set. Did I say we? Lilly at least! I had to watch some video tutorials on taking pictures of stars on psd-tutorials.de. With some bags and Lilly riding along in my jacket pocket we set off to the lake. Impatiently she looked at the sky. “Wow, so many stars!”, she exclaimed when we were nearly there. I smiled down at her and told her “Its because of the new moon. The moon would outshine everything.” She nodded knowingly and tried to see something in the light of the little flashlight I was carrying. Finally arriving at the lake, I set up the telescope for Lilly first, so that she could already have a look at the stars and then I set up my camera.
We had some lovely two hours at the lake with wonderful falling stars, bellowing badgers, close encounters with a beaver and scarred deer. After some time I had a look at Lilly and she was fast asleep. I gently took her up and brought her home.
