Lilly in der ewigen Stadt - Teil 2

Nachdem wir vom Trevi-Brunnen losgelaufen waren, gingen wir als nächstes zum Pantheon und dann entlang des Flusses zur Engelsburg. Kurz davor haben wir uns ein frisches Ciabatta belegen lassen. mmmmmmmh, war das lecker!! Und dann ging es auch schon weiter zum Peterplatz! Hier wurde gerade alles für die Generalaudienz des Papstes am Mittwochmorgen vorbereitet. Was für ein Gewimmel!
After we left the Trevi Fountain we visited the Pantheon and then we walked along the river to the Castel Sant'Angelo. Just before we bought some fresh Ciabatta and enjoyed them. Yummi, they were delicious!! And then we pressed on to St. Peter's Square. Here they are preparing the plazza for the general audience of the Pope on Wednesday. What a bustle!
 

Vor unserem Rückflug sind wir dann doch nochmal schnell mit der Metro gefahren. Zum Piazza del Popolo und auf den tollen Aussichtspunkt am Pincio. Von dort aus waren es dann nur noch wenige Meter zur Spanischen Treppe.
Just before jumping on the plane again we took the Metro to Piazza del Popolo and the beautiful view from Pincio. After that it was just a little walk to the Spanish Steps.

Wir haben unseren kleinen Ausflug sehr genossen, auch wenn wir jetzt dringend ein paar neue Füße brauchen! Wir hoffen, er hat euch gefallen und Lilly wird sicher bald wieder melden :)
We enjoyed our little trip very much, even if we need some new feed after all the walking! We hope, you enjoyed it and Lilly will soon be back :)
