Harrison
In aller Eile packt Harrison seine Sachen zusammen und verlässt seinen Lagerplatz. Er hastet zurück in den Jungle und rennt weiter, ohne sich um die peitschenden Äste und den rutschigen Boden zu kümmern. Plötzlich steht er vor einem Abgrund. Er nimmt sich keine Zeit, einen anderen Weg zu suchen und lässt sich an ein paar Ranken herunterrutschen. Bald wird er aus der bewaldeten Landschaft heraus kommen und schneller vorankommen.
In mad hurry Harrison packs up his stuff and leaves his camp site. He hurries back into the jungle and runs on not hestitating because of the whipping branches and the slippery grounds. All of a sudden he finds himself infront of a steep cliff. He spends no time lokking for a different way to get down, he holds on to the vines and slips down the cliff. Soon he will be out of the forrest and make faster progress.
Lilly
…bevor ich ihr auch nur sagen konnte, dass der Hilferuf garnicht echt war, kam sie auch schon mit ihrem kleinen Segelbötchen angeschoben und wollte sich in die Fluten stürzen. „Halt,“ rief ich ihr nach. „Das ist von einer Schnitzeljagd letzte Woche… die Kinder, die das geschrieben haben sind sicher zu Hause.“ Lilly schaute mich mit einer Mischung aus Erleichterung und Reue an. Ich glaube, sie hätte ihr Boot gern ausprobiert…
…before I could say anything, that the cry for help wasn’t real for example, she already emerged with her little sailing ship, ready to jump into the raving waters. “Stop,” I said. “It’s just something from the paper chase of last week… the kids that wrote this letter are save at home for sure.” Lilly looked kind of relieved but at the same time also a bit sad. I think, she really wanted to try out her little boat…

Nach einem schönen langen Spaziergang haben wir uns den Windbeutel mit Vanilleeis und heißen Kirschen wirklich verdient. Schön wenn man das traumhafte Sommerwetter am Wochenende so gemütlich ausnutzen kann!
After a nice long walk we really deserved this cream puff with vanilla ice cream and hot cherrys. So good to enjoy the gorgeous summer weather on a weekend!
Tidy
In der Ruhe liegt die Kraft, was liegt da näher als Angeln? Es war ein wunderschöner Sonntag Nachmittag im Garten meiner Eltern wir haben das Wetter genossen und Tidy hat seine Angel am Teich ausgeworfen, gefangen hat er nichts, Spaß hatte er dennoch!
Power lies within the calm, so what is more logical than fishing? It was a wonderful Sunday afternoon in my parents' garden and we were enjoying the weather. Tidy flung his fishing rod out into the pond. He did not make a catch but he had lots of fun!
