Intermezzo: Lilly und der Ballon

Das Lilly so eine Leseratte wird hätte ich nicht gedacht. Aber als ich sie einen Tag mal alleine ließ wühlte sie sich regelrecht durch alles, was bei mir im Regal steht und als ich nach Hause kam sah ich sie schon auf der Leiter stehen und mir zuwinken. Sie hatte sich einen kleinen Ballon gebaut und bevor ich auch nur „HALT!“ rufen konnte hob sie auch schon ab. Der kleine Punkt am Himmel, Lilly und ihr Ballon, wurde immer kleiner und ich rannte panisch ins Haus. Dort stolperte ich dann über viele aufgeschlagene Bücher und in einem fesselte mich sofort eine Skizze von einem Heißluftballon. Das Buch zuschlagend, aber schon mit einem mulmigen Gefühl im Buch, laß ich den Titel: „Jules Verne - Reise um die Erde in 80 Tagen“ und das Buch flog mir vor Schreck aus den Händen…



That Lilly would be such a bookworm... I would never have guessed it! But when I left her alone one day she literally dug through every book I have on my shelves and when I finally came home I found her already standing on the ladder, waving to me. She had built a balloon and before I could even cry “STOP!” she took off. The little dot in the sky, Lilly and her balloon, became smaller and smaller still and I ran into the house. Inside I stumbled over open books, lying on the floor. In one of the books I saw a drawing that immediately cought my attention because it was a drawing of a hot-air balloon! Closing the book, uneasiness already fluttering in my stomach, I read the title “Jules Verne – Around the World in Eighty Days” and the book fell to the floor…
