Die Hochwasserthematik lässt mich natürlich auch nicht kalt. Von meiner Seite gibt es nicht nur ein Bild mit "Wasser-Thema", sondern dazu auch eine Empfehlung dem Spendenaufruf zu folgen:
The topic of the floodings does not leave me cold. Therefore I am presenting a picture on the "topic of water" but additionally the recommendation to donate onto the account of the German Red Cross (linked above).
Tidy
Die Generalprobe des Sommers ist im Anmarsch! Die kommende Woche soll ja sehr heiß werden, da haben wir uns natürlich gefragt wie wir uns am besten darauf vorbereiten, viel Wasser, Ventilator aus dem Keller holen, nasse Tücher an die Fenster wenn´s ganz schlimm wird und besonders wichtig- EIS, leckeres Eis, damit das schwitzen auch Spaß macht! Wir wünschen euch einen kühlen Kopf bei den kommen heißen Tagen und möchten an dieser Stelle ein ganz besonderen Gruß an die Hochwasser-Betroffenen und Ihre Helfer, die in den kommenden Tage nun wirklich keinen Zuckerschlecken vor sich haben und mit vollem Einsatz und so viel Selbstlosigkeit zur Tat schreiten! Ihr seid Wahnsinn, schön das wir euch haben!
The dress rehearsal of the summer is starting up! Next week is supposed to be really hot, so we have been asking ourselves how to best prepare for that. Lots of water, bring the fan up from the basement, wet cloth in front of the window if it gets really bad and especially important: ICE CREAM, yummy ICE CREAM, so that there is fun in being hot! We hope you keep a cool head in the following hot days and we want to send a special greeting to the victims of the flood and the helpers, that are working through the tough times and that are working with full powers and selflessly. You are amazing and it is phantastic that you are there!

Zach
Erst war Zach ganz begeistert, als ich ihm sein Minisurfbrett geschenkt habe und er auch ganz gut darauf das Gleichgewicht halten konnte. Aber als die erste Welle kam, war das Geschrei groß. Er hat aber nicht den Mut verloren und vielleicht kann ich Euch unter der Woche noch ein erfolgreiches Surfbild zeigen...
At first, Zach was all siked when I gave him his mini surfboard and he was pretty good to keep his balance on it. But when the first wave came in things changed. He didn't lose his courage, though, and maybe I can show you a successful surfing picture during this week...
Nio
Diese Woche gibt es mal den Filmtipp von Nio - er schmachtet nämlich grade die weibliche Figur #7 an, die heldenhaft im Film zur Rettung naht, aus der der Charakter #9 entsprungen ist. Wer den Film von Tim Burton nicht kennt aber Nio mag, sollte sich mal einen gemütlichen DVD-Abend gönnen! Viel Spaß! :-)
This week Nio gives you all a movie recommendation - because at the moment he is marveling at the female figure #7, who saves the day like a hero in the film which the character #9 comes from. If you don't know this film from the great Tim Burton and like Nio, you should take your time on a movie evening! Have Fun! :-)

Auch wenn er es nicht gern zugibt, klopft sein Herz bis zum Hals als er weiter in den Raum hineingeht. An der hinteren Wand hält er inne. Das Licht, das durch die Öffnung hinter ihm fällt, läßt den Stein aufleuchten. Beinahe hat er das Gefühl, er könnte die Figuren greifen. Der Schatten seiner Hand wandert an der Form des Löwen entlang. Dann schleicht er weiter.
Even though he does not admit it, his heart is beating wildly as he ventures deeper into the room. He stopped at the back wall. The light falling through the opening behind him makes the stone gleam. He almost has the feeling he could touch the figures. The shadow of his hand wanders along the shape of the lion. Then he sneaks on.
Lilly
Als Lilly endlich den großen Wald verlassen hatte, stand sie unmittelbar vor einer langen, gedeckten Tafel. Neugierig machte sie sich daran auf den Tisch zu klettern. Oben angekommen staunte sie dann nicht schlecht. Bunt zusammen gewürfelte Teeservice, Kannen, Zucker, Blümchen waren auf dem Tisch verstreut. Am Ende des Tisches saß ein Herr mit einem komischen Hut. Eine Raupe und ein Kaninchen waren ebenfalls in Gesellschaft. Alle schauten Lilly einen kurzen Moment an, dann baten sie sie Platz zunehmen und mit Ihnen ein Tässchen Tee zu trinken. Es wurde eine ausgelassene Tee-Party, bis die Taschenuhr des Kaninchens klingelte und Lilly’s Traum wie eine Seifenblase zerplatzte…
When Lilly finally reached the end of the huge forest, she suddenly came to a stop in front of a well-laid table. She climbed the table, curiously. When she reached the top, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Tea and coffee sets, wildly mixed – pots and jugs and flowers where standing before her. At the head of the table was a gentleman with a very strange hat. A caterpillar and a rabbit where also present. Everybody just looked at Lilly for a second, but then they invited her to join them for a cup of tea. It became a very animated tea party when suddenly the pocket watch of the rabbit rang and Lilly’s dream burst like a soap bubble...
